This is the most annoying thing. I’m talking with a Russian who doesn’t speak English. Suddenly I have that crazy English thought I wanna tell him about, but he can’t understand English and I have no idea how to say it in Russian, so I go “Er…” There’s nothing wonderful about it. This is just annoying.

Well, I just had a bad dream, so I’m kinda down in the dumps. And that was only a dream. I just didn’t make it clear enough. The whole post, except for the first line was about the dream.

You are right. It's not a hobby only. I mean you grow. You grow for yourself. And maybe you do it for yourself only. For your enjoy...

I don't know why, but I never experienced this problem. When I speak to Russians, I think in Russian. And I know far more words in this language than in anything else. Sometimes I can't find the right words to express myself, but this is not about language, this is about being nervous.

Oh, it happens to me too. Sometimes I see a dream where I'm depressed because of some trifle which would never get me depressed when I'm in my normal state. Then I wake up, and I'm still under the impression, and it's like that all day long... Yes, learning English is pointless. All our life is pointless. We just were thrown in here by some invisible hand to live some pointless seventy-something years.

A couple of months ago i had my first english dream. Where i was an american soldier in Iraq. I felt real fear, when i saw dead friends around me, and i had only one desire, came back to home alive. I knew i had made a terrible mistake when I decided to arrive there. But it was too late... The contract is signed. Then I received a pink fleecy earphones, and another bullshit...

Probably i need to watch less news before bedtime.

ahaha. Brave, you're dangerous.

Why only a couple of months ago? For me it's enough to listen to much English for 1.5-2 hours before going to sleep. After this it's guaranteed that I'll see some dream in English.

It was a russian dream. But I had a fluffy cap with long rabbit ears. So your earphone is normal, IMHO.

I have a real pair of pink rabbit ears! They're not for everyday use, you know, rather for holidays, etc. I even made a photo of me in them recently, just for fun.
